Soar above the Bahamas at the glorious Mount Alvernia
While snorkeling and sailing above the azure Caribbean waters is an unforgettable experience by itself, climbing up to the very top of the islands is arguably ever so slightly better. Mt. Alvernia is rightly considered the roof of the Bahamas, so buckle up for views that you will not find anywhere else in the country! Your guide will pick you up at the pier and guide you to the vehicle that will take you to the starting point of the hike. While the hike itself won’t take more than 10 - 20 minutes, your guide will make sure that you are thoroughly entertained with folklore and stories throughout. Once you reach the top, feel free to explore the mountaintop at your own pace. Don’t forget to check out the stone monastery at the top of the mountain!
