Begin your tour with a transfer to the airfield, where you will be briefed on the safety protocols of the helicopter. Listen to them closely for half an hour. They are extremely important and can make or break your experience over the ice fields. Finally, it will be time for you to board your helicopter and begin your journey over Herbert Glacier. The incredible icy expanses will leave you awestruck, while the surrounding mountains and forests will make the views unforgettable. Descend on the glaciers and walk around on the ice Soon, you will get to land on the glaciers and see them up close. Your guide will fill you in on how these glaciers were formed over millions of years and how important they are to the local economy.
