Once you arrive at the harbor, a representative will come to see you and take you to your private chartered boat for the day! Get acquainted with the boat and all of its modern facilities and bid adieu to the shore for the next 4 hours. On your way to the fishing spot, keep an eye out for dolphins, sharks, stingrays, turtles, and more. The shallow coasts of Cat Island are thriving with all sorts of marine life, and you will likely spot multiple species you have never seen before as we arrive at the fishing point. Embrace your inner sailor while trying your hand at deep-sea fishing As you arrive at Colombus Point - one of the most popular fishing sites in Cat Island - your guide will fill you in on the very basics of deep-sea fishing. In no time, you will be ready to cast the bait and wait for your first catch! On a regular day, you might catch some tuna; an exceptional day, however, will bring you some marlin. Keep an eye out for other kinds of sea creatures that you will not be able to catch as well! The warm currents of Cat Island are known to draw in a variety of whales and white-tipped sharks regularly. If waiting around the sundeck does not appeal to you, don’t hesitate to ask for snorkeling gear from the crew and hop overboard to cool off in the sea.
